Interlink Express Parcels Ltd operates a parcels collection and delivery service through more than 100 franchises located throughout England, Scotland, Wales and the Channel Islands. In addition, the subsidiary company Interlink Ireland, operates a network of 34 depots.

Interlink Express is an important part of the GeoPost UK distribution operation. GeoPost UK is owned by La Poste the second largest operator in the European parcels and logistics market.

Interlink Express has a new global express service - Chronopost International. Chronopost International offers you an unrivalled next day service to over 80% of the European population and serves more than 220 countries worldwide.

Interlink Express directly employs over 600 staff who work together with Franchisees to provide a comprehensive range of services encompassing the entire business spectrum, from next day documents to international air freight.

Over 100 franchisees provide invaluable local knowledge and interest, with the high standards of customer service that you expect from a small business. They are backed by a very large business - one of the foremost in this field. Once you have called your local depot to arrange a collection, a driver will collect your parcel or document and enter the details into a handheld portable data terminal known as a Parcel Coder carried by every vehicle driver.

On arrival at the collecting depot, the route label is printed and attached and tracking details are logged onto the computer.
Our automated central sorting hub currently handles over 20,000 parcels per hour. It uses a unique barcode on your package to identify, track, label, move, sort and load completely automated - in a matter of minutes.

From the hub our linehaul trucks will take your package to the appropriate depot through the night, for delivery by Interlink Express vehicle or to a UK airport for despatch to one of 220 Countries that we serve.

It provides reassurance both to our customers and ourselves, that we are maintaining these standards which are audited twice a year by an officially accredited independent organisation.


Environmental Policy

As a major player in the Express Parcels Market Place, Interlink Express are aware of environmental impacts and seek to reduce those impacts wherever possible.

Interlink will strive to: - Improve efficiencies in fuel consumption and reduce emissions to the environment through vehicle engineering, vehicle specification and high maintenance. Seek to reduce waste and reuse recyclable products wherever possible. Reduce damage to packaging to promote reuse. Review operating procedures to introduce best available techniques not involving excessive cost.
